As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have trained to work with individuals, couples, older adolescents, and families in the following areas: Core issues of identity, sexuality and spirituality; Issues surrounding trauma (PTSD), abuse and grief; Depression and anxiety; Life transitions and crises; Relationship and premarital counseling; Marital, separation, and divorce counseling; Blended family issues; co-dependency; Partners of sex addicts and their families; Female sexual addiction.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Management and Communication from Concordia University, Mequon, WI and my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, WI. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin. I have received advance training in the treatment of sexual addiction and emotional intimacy disorders from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and am a professional member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health. I am trained as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a member of the American Association of Certified Christian Sex Addiction Specialists.
I believe that the past does not have to dominate the present. Healing begins from within and includes the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
